Dealer Comments
Get the Most for your Money at Roberts Motors! This 2023 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 is finished in Black and is a single-owner truck, part of the second-generation Colorados final model year, built in Wentzville, Missouri, and it uses the 2.7-liter turbocharged L3B four-cylinder with direct injection, variable valve timing, and an aluminum block. The VIN decodes it as a Crew Cab 4WD truck with the Z71 trim, which sits in the off-road-oriented part of the lineup and pairs the 4x4 hardware with a hydraulic brake system and a DOHC valve train. The 2023 redesign gave the Colorado a much more modern cabin and chassis feel than the earlier 20152022 trucks, and the Z71 trim is one of the clearest examples of that shift because it combines trail-focused tuning with everyday usability. Chevrolet rated this generations 2.7-liter turbo at 310 horsepower and 391 lb-ft in Colorado form, and the trucks EPA fuel economy for the 4WD turbo-four configuration was 17 mpg city and 21 mpg highway, which is a useful benchmark for the models balance of strength and efficiency. This trucks equipment list includes standard forward collision warning, pedestrian automatic emergency braking, rear visibility system, keyless ignition, daytime running lights, and semiautomatic headlamp beam switching, with optional adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, park assist, lane departure warning, rear automatic emergency braking, and auto reverse system. It is equipped with the Z71 Convenience Package II, which adds a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, and adaptive cruise control. It is also equipped with the Trailering Package, which adds a trailer hitch, 7-pin connector, and trailer brake controller for towing setup. The Colorado nameplate also earned a 2023 MotorTrend Truck of the Year award, and that recognition lined up with the models broader move toward a more refined turbocharged powertrain and a more capable, more contemporary midsize-truck package.
