Ford ended Edge production after the 2024 model year, making this the final year for the midsize SUV. The SEL uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard on the 2024 SEL. EPA fuel economy is 21 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway and 23 mpg combined. The Edge rides on Fords CD4 platform, shared with the Fusion and Lincoln MKZ. Its 2019 refresh brought a wider grille, revised front and rear styling, and a standard 8-inch touchscreen with Fords Sync 3 system. The 2024 model retains that layout, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. SEL equipment includes heated front seats, a power-adjustable drivers seat, dual-zone automatic climate control and a power liftgate. The Edge also has 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, expanding to 73.4 cubic feet with the seats folded. The Convenience Package adds a wireless charging pad, universal garage door opener, power-folding side mirrors and perimeter alarm. The Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ Package adds adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, evasive steering assist and connected built-in navigation. This Edge has had a single owner.
